Conky not always starting

Yep had this problem once before where every 2nd or 3rd bootup conky never started verified it wasn’t and would run manually from krunner. Use a simple conky script.

As mentioned had this issue with other distro’s also. But went away for awhile now seems back again.
So any insights to solve would be appreciated.


Ratether than using a desktop file to load conky i’ve found the way described in the Arch wiki as the best most reliable way in which to integrate conky into KDE SC 4. Just use the standard ~/.conkyrc script file location and then symlink to the conky binary under ~/.kde4/Autostart/ like this: ln -s /usr/bin/conky ~/.kde4/Autostart/conkylink
