getting bugfixed plasma stuff with netrunner 16

Hi,

a few days ago plasma 5.3.1 shipped, it is a minor release without new fuctions but with bugfixes.

How to get this actual fixed stuff in netrunner 16?

And is there a possibility to get new versions of kf5 with netrunner 16?

The Plasma version we ship is basically Plasma 5.3.1 without the version label as we worked very hard to fix various bugs in 5.3 together with KDE Developers before releasing Netrunner 16.

Though it is possible to enable the kubuntu backports ppa to get the latest versions from Kubuntu. This should work but was not tested by us. So regressions might occur.

thanks for your answer. Nice to read about your teamwork arround kf5 and plasma.

I’ll try the ppa on my Desktop PC. If there will occure regressions, I’ll open a new thread here with exact description. I think, such info might be useful for your developer team.
