GuestAdditions not run well under Host Windows 7

Hello,

I have run the Netrunner 16 in a VirtualBox 4.3.28 from Oracle Homepage on Host Windows 7.
And the same problem is in Host Ubuntu 12.04
The GuestAdditions (4.3.26) from the Netrunner 16 Distro are installed.

I can’t change the window of the VM.
No “Automatische Anpassung der Gastanzeige” is possible.
Only shared Folder works well.

What is the reason for that?

You need to install the Guest Additions which are included with VirtualBox 4.3.28

No, the same problem with 4.3.26 for all.
The Version of GuestAdditions must not be the same as the Version of VirtualBox.

It works here out of the box with the live system that I tried. Can you reinstall the virtualbox-guest-dkms package to see if it helps.

After reinstallation of
virtualbox-guest-dkms
virtualbox-guest-utils
virtualbox-guest-X11
and Reboot the same situation.

The size of window for the VM is always constant.

How much system RAM do you have?

How much RAM have you allocated to the VM?

How much Video RAM have you allocated to the VM?
