# HP to embrace Linux?

I am sceptical.
They threw away WebOS once which was also linux and also had the plan to make this standard on all of their computers.
Then Apotheker came and wanted to close everything down even the computer business.
As for this “The Machine” thing. Its a long term plan and I am not sure if HP can do it.

I’m not completely convinced that they can pull it off either, but it will be interesting to watch no matter how it all turns out.
