I ruined the software source and GPG Key of netrunner rolling edition. I cannot update my system. Can anyone tell me how to fix it?
Here is what happened:
I installed netrunner rolling edition and updated system and got a broken system(stuck at a terminal login screen and the screen kept flashing. The keyboard was out of control).
I tried re-installing, but update keep breaking my system.
I tried some solutions I found online and damaged the system
I cannot update my netrunner rolling edition.
The installation is ok. Everything works fine. I have nvidia video card.
First, do you have a single GPU or a hybrid graphics system?
Second, what is your Nvidia chip, and were you trying to use the free or the non-free drivers?
Can you post the output of inxi -G and mhwd -l:
Thank you. Here are my configuration details:
I have nvidia-nouveau driver installed for the newly installed system. It runs OK, but when I update my system. I will break it.

OK, the manjaro-system-20141014-1 will install the java update for you without needing the user intervention that the Arch users had to deal with, then it should proceed with the rest of the update.
By the way, there is no need to run sudo pacman -Syyu if you had already run sudo pacman -Syy. The nouveau driver update should never break your system.
Why did you post this twice:
Make sure your mirrors are up to date and using the fastest one first with: sudo pacman-mirrors -g
Then just run: sudo pacman -Syyuu
This is just in case you have something newer installed that is available in the repositories.
THe update failed my system again. The only error I can see on the frozen screen is the Kernel module fail to load.
I reinstalled the rolling edition with free driver and tried the command you gave me to update system.
I first ran sudo pacman-mirrors -g then I got the “Replace grantlee with extra/grantlee-qt4?” message. Is that normal?
I got the following output in the terminal:
[roy@4720G ~]$ sudo pacman -Syyuu

Thank you guys.
The update is successful this time. I guess I must use the free driver to install the system then update.
After the update, I can safely install the nonfree driver.
