Linux Teachings

I hope this is not too far or completely off Netrunners subjects or guidelines.

I (in the way long time past) purchased a “Teach Yourself Linux in 24 Hours” book, a Red Hat 5.0. version included. Written by Bill Ball and Stephen Smoogen. Sams Publishing- Red Hat Press.

Jobs I had did not allow me time to use it. I put it away and today found it.

Is there anyone here that is familiar with this book?
And, is the teachings still current?

If not, please recommend another “Beginners” level book like this.

Thanks for any help and comments,

Hello,

I would suggest the Linux Academy. I think you will get the most up to date teaching available. However, there are many forums to read and you can also get a lot of great learning there too.

Wish you the best
