after windows install grub overwritten–need to know how to put grub back in the mbr TIA After grub is installed I need to know how to restore my settings to grub.cfg. I am running the latest version of 64bit Netrunner. On my hdd i have linux swapfile first on disk then netrunner , then Windows. TIA

PS i forgot to ask if netrunner uses grub or grub2 cause i know the drives setup is a bit different–drives start a 0 and partitions start at 1. TIA:huh:

Download a copy of SystemRescueCD and burn it to a cd.
Boot from the cd and use the tools to fix Grub issues.
