I have Pandora Radio working on 13.06, will work on 13.12 as well.
Here are the instructions---->

  1. open a terminal

  2. Type in the following commands, one at a time, letting each finish before going to the next.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:pithos/ppa

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install pithos

After install, enter your account information. I have no issues at all.

I love using Pianobar to connect and use Pandora with.

sudo apt-get pianobar

or search pianobar in Synaptic

You log-in using your free Pandora account name and password in Terminal or Yakuake (after installed just type pianobar to run) and have all the access to Pandora as you wish. Using this command-line version allows you to save system resources as the Pandora app can be CPU intensive for just listening to music. And best of all you can thumbs up and down unlimited all day long as well as enjoying no commercial interruptions. Use ? to explore the list of features.

I have found that until you quit Pianobar, all other streaming audio may not work. Like, audiobooks, youtube, and videos. etc. Shouldn’t be a big problem because music and a movie playing would sound like a mess.

Dear Pandora Visitor,

We are deeply, deeply sorry to say that due to licensing constraints, we can no longer allow access to Pandora for listeners located outside of the U.S., Australia and New Zealand. We will continue to work diligently to realize the vision of a truly global Pandora, but for the time being we are required to restrict its use. We are very sad to have to do this, but there is no other alternative. [/quote]
