Remove a web account

The first time I set up my google web account I typed the email address wrong. I made another one with the correct address but now I cannot remove the old one. I select it in web accounts and hit the - button. It disappears but when I open web accounts again, or restart the system the first account is back again.

How can I remove it please? It’s incredibly frustrating.:@

Hi, sorry for the troubles :confused:

It seems that WebAccounts removed everything but the secrets (account name, password, authentification key) so it is still listing the account even though it was deleted.

There is an easy workaround you can do to get rid of this Accounts:

1-Execute KWalletManager
2-Search for WebAccounts
3-Delete the desired account
