I’m seeing two system tray icons for Pidgin after installing yesterday’s Plasma updates. When I right click on one I see normal KDE theming and when I click on the other I see the GTK theming. If I close one then they both close.
The one is the old xembed (supported now again with plasma 5.5) the other is the sni plugin (unity support). The latter you can turn off in the plugins of pidgin.
