Hello,

sorry for my terrible english :s

i have a new NUC8i7HVK with the new Graphic-card AMD Radeon RX Vega M GH.

`egle@NUC8i7HVK:~$ lspci | grep VGA
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Polaris 22 [Radeon RX Vega M GH] (rev c0)
`

i have install Kubuntu 18.04 with these PPA from this threat:

[https://askubuntu.com/questions/1040440/graphics-drivers-for-intel-nuc-hades-canyon-nuc8i7hvk-amd-radeon-rx-vega-gh](https://askubuntu.com/questions/1040440/graphics-drivers-for-intel-nuc-hades-canyon-nuc8i7hvk-amd-radeon-rx-vega-gh)

But i like Netrunner more, so i will used the Full graphics-support with Sound over HDMI
on my Netrunner 18.03.

Is there a PPA for Debian testing or so like these from Ubuntu?

or can i took the Ubuntu-PPA for Netrunner?

i wish kill Kubuntu from my harddrive if is possible :dodgy:

But at the moment it is Ubuntu the only Linux system I have found that really supports this graphic and it really works.

The support is in the current experimental linux kernel aswell as mesa.
There is nothing in debian testing for this.

Hello leszek,

ohh thanks for the information, so i will try it with the “experimental” feed, if this included 🙂

Hello leszek,

Thank you so much it is working 😃

I have install:

```auto
sudo apt -t experimental install linux-image-4.18.0-rc4-amd64 linux-headers-4.18.0-rc4-amd64
```

then:

`wget -m -np https://people.freedesktop.org/~agd5f/radeon_ucode/vegam/
sudo cp people.freedesktop.org/~agd5f/radeon_ucode/vegam/*.bin /lib/firmware/amdgpu
sudo /usr/sbin/update-initramfs -u -k all`

reboot and now it is gone, Grafics and sound over HDMI😃

so one questions more…

it is possible to get automatic updates for the experimental Kernel 4.18,
or is it only by manual?

i think its a long time for Kernel 4.18 to go in the testing feed… :s

best regadrs EgLe

Not really easily possible. You could experiment with apt pinning and set it to prioritise the linux-image and linux-headers packages from experimental. Never tried that but in theory it should work.
