It seems when you enabling an extra repo like restricted or multivere etc. the the problems are starting, with mine network connection is nothing wrong, i have done apt-get update, apt-get clean apt-get dist-upgrade -f, apt-get autoremove.

This problem occurs only when you enable an extra repo, iff i unmark the restricted repo then the problem is solved. Is this an serious bug or is there an problem with the sources.list.

I work with the dutch language i can post in English when tis make things easier.

This has already been asked and answered in the forum, please do a search before posting:

Ok noticed but why are these entries in the apt file when it is not working remove this from the sources list in the next release this is very confusing.

The entries are generated each time you edit something. And that’s the problem here. It seems to generate a broken list. Iam working on a fix currently.

edit: Btw. restricted is enabled by default

PS: How did you enabled restricted ? Did you use mintsources (Software Sources) or synaptic ? If the latter it would explain the problem. I would recommend using the mintsources tool.
