I have done a fresh install on a new computer using a Asus Z87-A motherboard. I am using the onboard intel graphics chip. The boot install display is at the maximum and is to big for the monitor. When I use system settings to change the display size and save it as default, the setting is not retained through a reboot.
I just tried on my laptop and it stayed across sessions and even after a reboot, which output are you using (vga, dvi, etc.)?
Sorry to bother you. After 4 reboots and the video settings not sticking on the 5th one it stayed in place. God is certainly challenging me on this new machine and install.
