Yes, that should stop even the point releases that Manjaro does for each of thier kernel series.

Just “linux” didn’t hold back the kernel, had to put “linux44” (I’m holding at 4.4.24-1-MANJARO). Running OK now.

Now, I need to consider my long-range plans (either hardware or software).
