These preinstalled bookmarks always reappear after I delete them off firefox. Is there any way to permanently disable them? I need space on my bookmarks bar for other things.

What version of Netrunner did you use for install (desktop, core, or rolling)?
What revision of the ISO?
Which version of Firefox (esr or release)?
