This is a fresh install about 2 days before I posted on this forum about the clamtk.
The only thing I did that you said was not necessary was this stuff…

Just for sake of my curiousity…
I am going to reinstall Netrunner and see if that comes up again.
For my sake of learning and to see if I did something that I should not have.
Seems extreme but it sure beats cleaning the house for Thanksgiving.

Hmm, that’s weird. ok, so lets install clamtk now:
sudo pacman -S base-devel
yaourt -S clamtkdone…
same thing with oxygen icons not opening the gui
gnome, kfaenza and highcontrast icons work

You know I never tried the oxygen icons, I’m going to try it now.

OK, if I only set the GTK icons to oxygen it works fine, it is only when Plasma is set to use the oxygen icons that clamtk won’t load, that setting shouldn’t be effecting GTK apps, very strange indeed. This is definitely a bug.

I changed wallpaper and broke something on the other laptop
that I have netrunner installed on.
Seriously, what could changing the wallpaper possibly break?
Because apparently from what I read afterwards…
I went into system files where I should not have been.
My goal was to add wallpapers in the same folder as the default wallpapers.
I always did that fine in Windows. Our Windows box has over 4000 pictures.
Keeping them organized… :s (damn windows users :P)
Afterwards…laptop would not boot into Netrunner.
It was hanging on Plymouth Boot Screen to Quit.
Where it would stay put…Stuck…I broke it.
I can’t imagine how this is even possible. If you didn’t changed permissions of any systemfolder it should not break anything.
Is there any error message behind plymouth (you can disable it temporary with escape)?
Permissions :huh: I may have done that. Now why would I do that :huh:

Ok, now I understand how that could have happened,
Anyway, as long as your latest installation and clamtk is working well, I would say this is solved. As far as the icon theme Issue, I’m not exactly sure who to send the bug report to clamtk, or the KDE community. Well it probably doesn’t even matter anyway as I just checked and this dug doesn’t seem to effect Plasma 5 only Plasma 4.
