Default panel/taskbar

Hello Y’all, I’m brand new to Linux and decided to use Netrunner rolling as my first distro (I really like it so far compared to Windows).

I was messing around with the customization options on the bottom panel of the screen and I ended up fouling things up, so I thought it would be a good idea to just remove the panel and click “create default panel.” However when I did this I got a different looking panel than what I was originally using, and I must say I prefer the original by far.

How might I restore the original panel that comes included by default?

Here’s a picture of what the current one (which I don’t like) looks like:

Thanks ahead of time for anyone who bothers to help little newbie me. :stuck_out_tongue:

I think there is actually no template for the one we ship by default.
So either you try copying the config file from /usr/share/netrunner-default-settings/kde4-profile/default/share/config/plasma-desktop-appletsrc to your home directories ~/.kde/share/config/ folder.
But be aware this will set also wallpaper back to default and icon positioning.
Or you try to manually edit the Panel by replacing the Kickoff menu with Homerunkicker and Taskmanager with Expanded Icons Taskmanager. Plus adding a yakuake Icon to the panel.

Awesome it worked, thanks a bunch friend.
