To fix Discover not working and giving an error about packagekit run the following command:
sudo pacman -S netrunner/packagekit netrunner/libpackagekit-glib --noconfirmbut the welcome landing page has
-noconfirmgiving an error :idea:
I don’t have access to the welcome landing page, someone else needs to fix that.
The command I posted here has the correct format.
However, the --noconfirm can be left off altogether, you’ll just be prompted to confirm (hit Y) without it.
with or without the fix, Discover sucks big time.
The fixed (Manjaro patched versions) of packagekit and libpackagekit-glib have been pushed to Manjaro stable repository with the last set of updates. This hotfix is no longer needed.
