Is it possible to dolphin display a dialog box when you make an action like copy / paste / move a file instead of a notification ? I see in root mode Dolphin display a dialog box so it seems to have this feature like any other file manager.
Yes you can do this by right clicking on the i icon of the notification(the one in the panel far right) and go to settings. Here you can disable it by unchecking “File transfers and jobs”. You need to logout and login again for changes to take effect.
