Problem: KDE4 Dolphin Places entries repeated after every use
Distribution Netrunner 14.2 LTS Frontier
Linux 3.13.0-67-generic #110-Ubuntu SMP Fri Oct 23 13:24:41 UTC 2015 x86_64 GNU/Linux
KDE kde-baseapps-bin 4:4.14.3a-0ubuntu1~ubuntu14.04~ppa1 amd64
KIO: kio-sysinfo 0.1-0ubuntu1+f89087e~ubuntu14.04.4 amd64
Dolphin: dolphin 4:4.14.3a-0ubuntu1~ubuntu14.04~ppa1 amd64
kdelibs: kdelibs-bin 4:4.14.13a-4~ubuntu1~ubuntu14.04~ppa3 amd64
Normally I have 4 entries under the Places section of Dolphin:
Home
Root
Wastebin
Network
Since the upgrade to KDE 4.14.13 I now get multiples of each of the original four entries (Home, Root, Network and Trash) every time I re-start Dolphin. This is not cancelled by a reboot and overtime the file gets bigger and bigger and slows Dolphin down. The extra entries can be deleted but come back after a restart.
This was a known bug in KDE in May this year 2015:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=347246
which was solved in a later version but has now reappeared.
Anybody know how can I solve this problem please?
