Firefox, latest version needs PPA ?

Hi,
after my last netrunner upgrade, I see that firefox is still version 19.
What about latest version 20 ?
Will it be available in standard repositories? Or I need to add this PPA to get latest version?
https://launchpad.net/~blue-shell/+archive/firefox-kde

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:blue-shell/firefox-kde
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install firefox firefox-kde-support

Please, can you help? :shy:
Thanks in advance.

Could you please report your firefox revision, after recent netrunner updates? Just trying to understand if this is something related only to my system or not.

Thanks

My Firefox is version 19 too. I used other Distros before and the upgrade to the newest version of Firefox (and other packages too) took a while everytime. With a bit patience you’ll get version 20 without editing your ppa. But thats your choice.
AAAh. Now you can upgrade. Just have a look at muon.
Bye!

Yes, the Firefox KDE Team needs to patch every new version and then compile it in the blue-shell ppa. Once there, it gets copied over to the netrunner software repositories, so it shows up automatically as update in the OS, for example Muon.

Thanks a lot,

for your answers and for the new Firefox 20 in standard netrunner repositories
