I really love Netrunner but since its a KDE distro the browser are always slightly outdated and consequently are more vulnerable to exploits and a sandbox would add an extra layer of protection to guard users from browser or plug-in exploits. And I have found a very secure sandbox application Firejail https://l3net.wordpress.com/projects/firejail/ and its not just for browsers it can sandbox a variety programs such as Thunderbird or VLC Media Player it also can be used for cross-distro gamming https://l3net.wordpress.com/2014/10/23/debianubuntu-cross-distro-gaming-with-firejail/ I’ve been using FJ for a while now and its not that difficult to setup here’s a demonstration video I found https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUW0L2Yj_us . FJ updates about every month and they continue to add more feature and enhance the security in fact the just release a new ad-on GUI called Firetools, So would please consider adding this to Netrunner down the road?
