Under Netrunner Rolling I found fontconfig-ttf-ms-fonts in the AUR that has made my fonts loads better.

yaourt -S fontconfig-ttf-ms-fonts

This will also pull in ttf-ms-fonts for your web browsers, office apps. etc. to use.
