Hey… I am a novice to Linux and I am trying to move a skin-file into this folder:
/root/local/share/vlc/skins2/
But it says access denied!
How do I get access to root folders?
Man… Linux can be so frustrating sometimes!
Solution:
Open folder you desire access to.
right click within it
Select Root Actions
Then select Ownership To Active User
Then enter your root password
If you are trying to move a file from one root folder to another,
you will need to do this in both folders, which will then give the
access for each folder.
IF I am doing this wrong, please let me know.
But for now, It Worked!~
