I can`t print or scan any document with the HP Deskjet 2050

I try to find the way to get it

Either use synaptic or muon to install gcc or better even build-essential package.

Thank you I think that is that is gcc but in synaptic i find many I dont know what I chose but Ill try

You could also just execute the following in a terminal which will give you everything you need I guess

sudo apt-get install build-essential

I also have HP Deskjet 2050A, and hp drivers are already installed on system. For easy setup, install hplip-gui and then run menu > system> hp-toolbox, it will ask you for password, and then reboot. After reboot you will have hp icon in system tray. You can manage your printer from there. There is no need for manual installation from hp site :wink:
