debian has only 2 things going for itself:

large number of packages

MX-Linux offers super convenient cloning, which hardly ever creates problems.
if you have a nice install on fast 8GB or 16GB stick, its very easy to transfer that onto a bootable disk or a different stick or as an ISO for DVD. other backup solutions are usually a PITA including CloneZilla and bootability is hard to obtain.
If Arch/Manjaro could copy that rsync based cloning, it would become unstoppable !
