Hello everyone. I’m having a problem installing kde systems to my Dell Latitude D630. It always hangs when the installer is formatting the / partition at 33%. I read somewhere that if I would format that partition to ext4 with gparted using another os it would work as long as I unchecked the format button when I next tried to install. But, the installer will not let me uncheck it. So I’m stuck. I want to give Netrunner a whirl, so can anyone give me some advice with this? I’ve tried Kaos, Netrunner and Kubuntu and get the same thing.
So it must be a common problem, not installer-based, since Kaos uses a different installer than Kubuntu.
