Installing Gimp Language pack

Hi Guys,

Manjaro is telling me to install gimp-help-en_gb.

When I authorise this with root password I get:

warning: database file for ‘multilib’ does not exist
warning: database file for ‘custom’ does not exist
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not find database

and then the install fails…

Can anyone please help. Its possible that I screwed up my install of rolling, as I have it on
a dual boot with WIN 7 on an older Dell Inspiron 530, (sorry about that but still need windows
for odds and ends here and there .

Next time for the Netrunner Rolling Edition (Manjaro/Arch) please post here instead:

Anyway, to fix this first open up Manjaro Settings Manager > Available Language Packages > and click Apply.

If that doesn’t work then you haven’t to run your updates yet, if this is on a new install you’ll need to use the terminal:

sudo pacman -Syy
sudo pacman -S manjaro-keyring
sudo pacman -Suu

If you have issues with signatures (keys):
Rob McCathies (korrode):

sudo pacman-key -r 5C0102A6
sudo pacman-key --lsign-key 5C0102A6

Joshuas Strots (dcell):

sudo pacman-key -r CB6CDD17
sudo pacman-key --lsign-key CB6CDD17
