Weird thing then battery is low impossible put laptop in sleep mode… it just go in endless cycle with wake up and sleep again. Latest netrunner, also it was on any kind of netrunner. But if battery not low everything works as expected.
Seems to me be a driver/hardware issue and has nothing todo with the kde tools as they call the same sleep script as before.
What exact hardware do you have ?
I think that kind of problem was only with KDE. With original ubuntu unity can’t remember issue like this. I use asus k53s laptop. It seems like something wake up laptop from sleep then battery is critical
Unity and kde execute the same script to go into suspend. So I’m almost fully convinced this is a general problem on your hardware. But to confirm that I would need more information on your hardware.
Lspci or kinfocenter might help here.
