Live cd freezes

I am attempting to boot Netrunner from a live cd. Every time that it boots it stops after the cursor appears.
I have tried both the 32 and 64 versions with both normal and compatibility mode.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In order to help you I would like to know the hardware specs, like cpu, motherboard and gpu chip / graphicscard.
Also make sure to have checked the md5sum of the iso to make sure it isn’t broken.

My pc is an HP Pavilion, p6-2316s.
My processor in an AMD A4-3420.
My graphics(chip/card?) I’m not sure which, though it does appear to be integrated with the mother board.
It is listed as AMD Radeon HD 6410d graphics on the side of the case.
As for my Motherboard… Opening my case and looking at it, I see this: AAHD2-HY REV:1.03.
Finally, my iso appears to be intact as the md5sum matches. Also, the 32 bit edition booted fine on my granparent’s older pc. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

Does it help if you boot the live system with adding vga=normal nomodeset to the boot options in the bootmenu (add those by pressing TAB)

I will try it now.

It worked! I had already tried nomodeset. vga=normal seems to have fixed it.
Thank you!
