ls command output showing upside down

Hello guys!
I am on Netrunner 13.12 (Enigma-II) from past 2 weeks.
I have got this strange issue:

naren@darth-naren:~$ ls

sWɅ xoᗺꞁɐnʇɹᴉɅ
soǝpᴉɅ
dɐɹɔ-ǝɯos
sǝɹnʇɔᴉԀ
ʞɹoʍʇǝN
ɔᴉsnW
spɐoꞁuʍoᗡ
sʇuǝɯnɔoᗡ
doʇʞsǝᗡ
ɹǝƃɐuɐɯ-ʎʞuoɔ
odǝɹ-ɟǝɥɔ
naren@darth-naren:~$

The ls command output is showing upside down!!
I dont know how to go about fixing this…any help would be much appreciated.

Is this a late aprils fool joke ?
Never saw something like that before.

Sorry everyone it was my friend playing a prank on me.
He created an /etc/ls python script and created /usr/local/bin/ls as symbolic link to that.
Hence that result.
