no matter what i do Clementine will read my device and when I double click to access the device I see how :
- Clementine force closes
- Dolphin File manager & Device Notifier inform me of how device is unmounted and mounted again…
Essentially I would like to transfer 40-60- GB of music …thxs!

Why would you be using Clementine to transfer files?
What kind of device is your music files on?
Personally, I would just use dolphin to copy or move them to my Music folder in my home directory.
that’s not resolving the issue nor is it very helpful/practical when one is short on space and has over 300GB of music on ext hard drive and playlists
its a feature in Clementine to copy music/playlist to devices…using your logic why just i dont use Gmtp then…
