What the less requirements must be provided for the sake of make netrunner working well with the kde effects

Netrunner runs well on an old netbook (like n110 samsung) with just some heavier effects (like Blur) turned off:

The KDE effects depend on you graphics card and driver support for OpenGL.

Me ha gustado mucho esta distribución de KDE, tanto así que la recomiendo en mi página, ojala podamos encontrar seguidores en español.

Thank you, Deck. Do I do a fresh install or is there a way to upgrade from 12.12 to 12.12.1?

If you don’t want to go with a fresh install, you can try this: http://forums.netrunner-os.com/showthread.php?tid=336

I tried that, but nothing changed. I don’t mind installing again. Thank you very much for helping.

If nothing was updated, then you have a perfectly fine 12.12.1, it does not list 12.12.1 specifically but stays at major version 12.12 (we should change that in the next minor update).

Oh, okay. Thanks very much. I hadn’t done anything further, so I’m good.

So even if you have 12.12.1 in “My computer” it will show 12.12 ? Because I have installed 12.12.1 and it shows 12.12 and I’m not sure now with version I have.

It’s 12.12.1 then, which is really 12.12 with a few fixes, like if you updated.
