Netrunner26 on mbp 10,1

Hi, I have a mbp museum at home. On the mbp 5.5 I run macOS Monterey in dualboot with LMDE, on the main machine macOS Sequoia / Fedora 43 KDE and I also have a mbp 10.1 with Sequoia for now. I am also considering a distro - a fork of Debian for dualboot. An aggressive installation of Fedora completely broke my oclp EFI during installation. I solved it by reinstalling EFI using OpenCore Patcher and pointing Fedora to its own EFI and /boot behind the oclp EFI and an APFS partition. Is such an installation also possible in Calamares in Netrunner 26? Thanks. Dan

HI @Dan669

You can try the following: Boot the Netrunner 26 Live ISO, open the installer, and select Manual Partitioning. Then map your existing partitions and ensure the bootloader installation target is set to the specific Linux partition you create, rather than the global MBR or the primary macOS EFI partition.

Hi, thanks for the quick answer. Unfortunately, I was faster. I installed trixie on the SSD at night. So, not to pretend to be such a big master - SpiralLinux subsequently upgraded to trixie. Anyway, a friend of mine has a bunch of discarded mbps 2012 - 2015 waiting in the service center, so I’ll jump right into installing Netrunner26 on the next piece in line.
