I am unable to to connect to pppoe connection. Without that, I have no internet connection. I am able to connect to WiFi hotspot connection I made from my phone but I have limited data package and I need to run my DSL connection because it is unlimited with good speed.
I tried installing ‘pppoeconf’ package and configuring pppoe from that. I was successful in configuring the connection but there was still no internet. I double checked that pppoe was loaded and it was but still there was no internet from my DSL connection.
I don’t want to leave Windows before this problem is fixed because there will be nothing for me to do after installing netrunner on my desktop computer. How do I fix this? I can install some packages from WiFi connection so tell me if installing anything will help me connect to the internet.
