I have two icons for Mozilla Thunderbird on the lower panel. How do I remove one?

i don’t know how to post a screen shot. I right clicked on the application name from the launcher panel and clicked add to panel. But for some reason, i have two icons for Thunderbird next to the application launcher on the bottom left.
If it’s a launcher, then right click > remove launcher will work.
However, If it’s a widget then you’ll need to hit the hamburger, then hover over it and hit the X.
