So I thought to myself that the only thing holding me back from a linux-only computer is League of Legends.
Now, I’ve tried playing LoL via PlayonLinux in Linux Mint and OpenSuse, both work without too much effort - yet nothing I tried thus far makes it run (at all) on Netrunner Rolling …
The installing phase runs smoothly yet nothing happens when I try launching the game.
What didn’t work thus far:
-Reinstalling PlayonLinux
-Reinstalling Wine
-checked wine-gecko is installed in LoL wine config for Play on linux
-correct date and time
-I’ve installed the lib32-libldap-2.4.44-1-x86_64 package and now the launcher launches, waiting to see if update completes.
OK, all seems to work… the client store still gives me a bit of problems, will figure them out now.
Playing works perfectly and only a 5-10 fps drop versus the winows client! way better than I expected!
So the 32bit libldap package is needed for 64-bit systems (i assume so as I had the 64 bit version installed by default)
