[Resolved]Failed Update and Dist-Upgrade

I attempted to update 17 today( apt-get update && dist-upgrade ) and meet with a failure to update the kernel. I have attached the output.
I was hoping for some help as to the problem.

I was able to resolve this myself(using resources from askubuntu.com). My /boot partition became full and old kernels needed to be removed. While I don’t have enough technological experience to be sure, I believe this can happen when FDE is used as a separate boot partition is created. The usual apt-get autoremove command did not work so I resorted to: hard drive - How do I free up more space in /boot? - Ask Ubuntu
I decided to use this specific method sourced from the askubuntu page: Ubuntu Cleanup: How to Remove All Unused Linux Kernel Headers, Images and Modules | Ubuntu Genius's Blog

This removed all old kernels without any problems.
