Rolling Release

[color=#000080]Is it possible to make Netrunner a ‘rolling release’?
This would avoid every 6 months to be doing a new installation to avoid failures that occasionally produces an update of the previous version to the latest.
I always do a backup of my files and do an installation of zeros to avoid me any problems, but many people do not like to do it by the time it takes to reinstall some applications and settings and customization we have achieved.
It would be a good idea to be able to do so it would increase the number of people who seek this distribution.
It could be used as a base version 14.04 will be LTS.

Every LTS is more or less a rolling release

[color=#000080]¿Netrunner Dryland 4.2 was based on Ubuntu 12.04?
If so, ¿why the support is removed?
¿Could take as Netrunner 14.04 LTS and maintain support until 2019?
So be making facilities would avoid every 6 months.

Packaging wise nothing speaks against using the next Netrunner system (based on 14.04 LTS) for the next 3 years.
I am not sure about 5 years though as not all repositories are supported by Canonical / Ubuntu that long. (I am not completely sure but I think multivers isn’t)

A LTS Release includes Bug fixes and a Rolling Release offers new features too ?
