Slow shutdown, NetworkManager and cifs mount to fault

I’ve kind of resolved my problem with NetworkManager by ditching it and installing wicd, so this post is just a rant.
I spent some time today trying to fix slow shutdown problem where NetworkManager closed wireless before cifs mounts were unmounted. Shutdown just hangs there till watchdog interferes.
I’ve tried autofs, also noauto,x-systemd.automount in fstab. Is this a known behaviour?
Replacing NetworkManager with wicd and adding wicd-kde applet fixed this straight away, laptop shuts down in seconds instead of minutes.
I post this if somebody is having same problems with slow shutdown and cannot find a solution.

Yes, known bug should be fixed in KDE 4.13.1.
