Cannot get smplayer to play remote files, but have no problem playing them with vlc. Using laptop with 14.2 playing
files off desktop computer drives with 14.2 and samba. Is it possible with smplayer?
Did you try that for SMplayer here? : https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/26455
Or do you get a general error from it when trying to play smb shared files?
