When I use the Homerun Menu to start Libre Office Writer or Libre-Office Start Center it cause the system to freeze, if I start it from the comman line it works with no problem…anyone else having this problem…
Can’t say that I’ve had this problem, but since the recent distribution upgrade, LibreOffice Writer 4.2.3 freezes while launching. I have two laptops, one with Netrunner Rolling and the other with Manjaro KDE – and this issue occurs on both machines.
Closing and re-launching makes it work, although sometimes I have to close/re-launch several times before it fully opens.
Remove libreoffice-kde4 package. It worked for me

Three minutes later, with libreoffice-kde4 removed, LibreWriter launched smoothly. Thank you again…
