[SOLVED] Right click on desktop

Is it normal that I can’t change desktop wallpaper? Right click gives me just desktop1 and desktop2. How can I get out of that? Please help :huh:

That’s not normal does a middle click show anything or a left click?
As a workaround could you create a new activity with super+q (super refers most of the time to the windows key) and see if it works there.

You could edit your .config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc file and change this line at the top of the file:

RightButton;NoModifier=org.kde.switchdesktop

To:

RightButton;NoModifier=org.kde.contextmenu

Great! I did it, it wasn’t working yet, restarted, now it’s perfect. Thank you. The middle click just, creates a widget.

The middle button should be set to paste and the scroll wheel set to switch desktop, just a FYI.
