Hi,
I want to execute a script while starting kde session. I add an entry in systemsettings - autostart - add a script
But after a new start of kde this entry has gone.
How can I fix this? Is there a workarround for executing applications while kde starts?
Kind regards,
Holger
You can manually place a desktop link to your script in ~/.config/autostart if everything else fails
Hi,
thanks, but in ~/.config/autostart is a link to my script. It does not start automatically. Manually it works, so there is nothing wrong with the script
Kind regards,
Holger
A link?
If it is a symlink please try a desktop file which starts the script rather than a symlink.
Hi,
I’ve solved it with choosing “add a program”, then it works.
Kind regards,
Holger
