I have changed distro acouple of times and came back to netrunner and changed to the rolling version.
thus far in the search for a functioning wifi I have drawn a blank.
to my supprise having installed this distro i found that the Broadcom Corporation BCM43142 802.11b/g/n (rev 01)had loaded up and there apperred be no hard or soft blocks and wl seemed to be in place
I then filled in all the details in the network manager and nothing…it did not scan nor couple up to the wifi network so my question what next?

What kind of wireless network is it?
If it’s a standard wifi it should be listed under networks in the system tray.
