One thing I dont like in Netrunner is the login sound, its too bleepin long.
Why doesnt netrunner use its built in login sound?
That can be changed by going to System Settings -> Application and System Notifications -> Event source: KDE Workspace -> Login
Yes I know it can be changed, but I should not have to.

Yes, it’s the first thing I changed on all my Netrunner installs so far. Login sounds, insofar that they exist at all, should be short indications of “we’re done loading stuff so you can start clicking now”; definitely not the overly long ditty that Netrunner uses by default. It’s not meant to be an opening theme song.

I find it kinda soothing …
Maybe have a few diff ones you can chose from …
Ive never even bothered to look to see if I can change it…
But maybe some kinda way to setup any sound file you want …
Would be kinda neet to make my own.
I could use some kinda voice app and have it say , Its Nice To See You Again Jen :)…
