I want to find out if there I can configure my wireless hsdpa modem to work with 13.12. When I have no access to wireless network I have to browse the internet with my modem.
Just try it out on the live system. Normally it should work.
I already did on the installed version, its not detected: I was expecting it to show as a usb device
So it isn’t showing up in the network manager and you are not able to configure a mobile broadband connection there?
Thanks I found that it did, the problem with my modem is it shows and then disappears and I don’t know why. It did same with other versions of linux.
