What about Everpad in Plasma 5

Since there is no linux client for evernote. I was wondering about Everpad?

It is in the Aur as everpad version 2.15.8-1 But was wondering what the Unity integration actually means? And will it mess up Plasma 5?

As want to start using Evernote again but the windows version in wine was a hack at best.

Anyone using Everpad in Netrunner Plasma 5?

As the Github instructions for other Linux’es seems involved.

You need to install alternatives for ubuntu packages:

python-pyside.qtcore, python-pyside.qtgui, python-dbus, python-beautifulsoup, python-pysqlite2,
python-keyring, python-support, python-sqlalchemy, python-oauth2, python-magic,
python-pyside.qtwebkit, python-html2text, gtk2-engines-pixbuf, python-regex, python-setuptools

And optionaly:

sni-qt, python-unity-singlet

On Debian I also had to run

apt-get install cmake qmake libqt4-dev python-dev

Unity integration Just means that it’s using appindicators (SNI under plasma) for it’s system tray integration.
It should run fine under Plasma 5.
