I’m using an AMD 8 core Processor so I need to enter the terminal commands… somehow… because when I try to boot the OS that has Netrunner on it, it doesn’t see it and won’t run it at all. This is using the latest rolling for Netrunner KDE-based.
I’m not following you, could you please try to explain that a bit better?
As far as terminals you have konsole, as well as yakuake (the drop down terminal):

There are also 6 Vt’s (virtual terminals) available that are accessible with CTRL+ALT+ F1 through F6.
NOTE: F1 is used for SDDM and Plasma so start with F2.
