Where do I need to put 20-intel.conf file in Kubuntu 14.1 edition?

On other systems I have done the following:

sudo nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf

Section “Device”
Identifier “Intel Graphics”
Driver “Intel”
Option “Backlight” “intel_backlight”
Option “TearFree” “true”
EndSection

But under Netrunner 14.1 I don’t know where to put this conf file.

Any help is very much appriciated,

In the same place but Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Netrunner standard edition doesn’t use any xorg.conf files by default.
You’ll need to create the /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ directory and then add the 20-intel.conf file yourself.

why under 3d driver says Unknown classic?

That’s normal for Intel GPU chips.
